The Event

This "invitation only" event scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009, debuts our Latin and Afro Cuban Jazz Concert Invitational and nightclub concept "Mansions Nightclub" at an expansive 30,000 sq. foot Malibu mansion. The event runs from 12pm to 2am and promises to be one of L.A.'s most sophisticated and fashionable affairs of the summer. Actual location address will be on your invitations received by mail, and should be safeguarded! This is an invitation only event!

Event Itinerary

Live musical performances by popular Contemporary Jazz, Latin Jazz Artists and Cosmopolitan DJ's as well as celebrity comedic performances. The event begins with a daytime pool party (12pm-4pm) and a Brazilian inspired barbecue. Caipirinha's, Mojitos and sizzling hot performances by Euro Lounge top DJ's from Los Angeles, New York City and Miami will entertain guests while basking in one of five double tiered swimming pools. The afternoon moves forward as the sun sets over Malibu's eclectic peninsula.

The Cocktail hour begins where the pool party ends (5pm-8pm) and continues with Pacific Coast dining featuring an epicurean buffet of internationally inspired Tapas hors d'oeuvres, specialty beverages, cocktails and VIP cigar lounges. Explore the minds imagination and defy belief from above while enjoying Luxury Hot Air Ballooning and champagne sipping with aerial views of the Malibu Peninsula. Piano, Sax, Guitar and Violin Featured Jazz Artists set the backdrop for an evening of entertainment, and global social flavor.

By 8pm all guests are required to be in semi-formal attire; ladies in dresses or fashionable pants suits; gentlemen in a suit or slacks and jacket. (NO JEANS!) Honey wagon dressing rooms will be available for those who wish to bring a change of clothes with them.

As the evening ushers in a celebratory party vibe; the mansion will take on an intercontinental ambiance, featuring salsa dancing and a spectacular laser light show that highlights the Euro Lounge "Mansions Nightclub". Enter the mansion ballroom and be transformed into an atmosphere that sizzles, as your Host elevates the Latin Salsa Fête (party) experience. World class Dj's spin-off capturing the soul, pulse and imagination of guests to create memorable moments in time. Crowning the event with a climatic aerial fireworks display over the ocean that will indelibly mark time forever...

Event Atmosphere

Casual yet fashionable daytime production features a poolside fête (party) Latin Jazz review also serving cuisine indicative of Latin American origin. As the sun sets, glide into an elegant evening of social networking as the eclectic appointed clientele enjoy cocktail hour. Guest will mingle and meet as well as be captivated by panoramic backdrop and ocean views.

Highlighting the evening is a semi-formal extravaganza as guest are introduced to the Euro-ultra nightclub and lounge concept as they enjoy the rhythmic sounds of various renowned jazz artists, and lively inspired dancing inspired by the sounds of L.A.'s most worldly DJ's and their International counterparts.

Attendance

Affluent residence and visitors from Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange Counties as well as out-of-state guests from Detroit, Dallas, Miami, NYC, Seattle, San Francisco, Maryland, Chicago as well as many of Mr. Regusters guest from a diverse international spectrum. Marketing for this event is targeted to trendsetters and professionals in all demographic and ethnic groups between the ages of 35 and 60 from an exclusive guest list provided by Herman Regusters as well as many other close friends and associates national and abroad.

Transportation

Valet service will be available upon arrival at the premises. Self-parking options will be available in a designated area on the day of the event. Transportation vehicles will provide shuttle service to and from the mansion. Limousine service is also available for guests who prefer a more leisure mode of transportation. Proceeds

A portion of the net proceeds will benefit Project MuszEd, a non-profit organization. With a main focus of education through music, this organization is devoted to the dissemination of information concerning the development of creative musical outlets for children and youth. Children learn to identify connections between music and the other arts, music from various periods, composers and cultures, and learn first hand about the basic theory of music elements: tempo, dynamics, pitch, rhythm and composition. The benefits of teaching children music lessons at a young age have been well documented. Research suggests that children who are exposed to music and music theory perform better in tests of memory, literacy, mathematics and general IQ. The effect of music on the brain also seems to promote creativity and help children learn coordination, cooperation and concentration.

A Place Called Home (APCH) is also a recipient of a portion of net proceeds. APCH is a dynamic youth enrichment center founded in 1993. The mission is to provide at-risk youth with a secure, positive family environment where they can regain hope and belief, earn trust and self-respect and learn skills to that lead to a productive lifestyle free of the gangs, drugs and poverty that surrounds them. The center helps inner city youth discover and pursue their dreams through educational enrichment programs that include but are not limited to, tutoring, classroom instruction, after school programs, higher education learning, crisis counseling and scholarship programs.

  • Do I need to purchase my tickets in advance or can I purchase them at the door?
  • Tickets can be purchased in advance on or around July 1st on our website. On the day of the event, tickets will be available for an additional cost, but may be limited due to event capacity.

  • When should I receive my invitation?
  • Invitations will be mailed out on or around July 1st. If your mailing address has recently changed, please email us with the updated information at: info@rhythmjazzations.com.

  • What is the event venue?
  • Our events are only held at expansive picturesque private estates.

  • What is the itinerary for this event?
  • As an invited guest, event details will be included by mail in your personal invitation. See “EVENT ITINERARY” on the website under EVENTS for an event overview.

  • What type of entertainment will you have at the event?
  • Latin jazz, straight ahead jazz, world beat and neo soul as well as Salsa dancing with live well-known bands and artists. See the website for more details.
  • The tennis court will be transformed into a nightclub that features world beat music and state-of-the-art laser light show and sound system, bars and lounge seating.

  • How do I RSVP?
  • Instructions will be included in your invitation, however all guest will be assigned a PIN CODE that is unique to each invited guest name. When you RSVP via email or voicemail, you will be required to provide this PIN CODE with your full name.

  • When will tickets go on sale?
  • Tickets will be available on or around July 1st

  • How can I purchase VIP Platinum tickets ?

  • How much are the Premium Executive tickets?
  • $65 before August 1st
  • $75 after August 1st

  • How can I purchase my tickets?
  • Visit the website for secure website payment or purchase tickets at the gate on the day on the event.

  • What forms of payment are acceptable?

  • If I am an invited guest, how many additional people can I invite?
  • Each invited guest is allowed to bring 3 guests (4 including yourself) or until capacity of our allotted number of total guests has been reached, so we encourage you to RSVP and purchase your tickets early.

  • How do I register my guests for the event?
  • All of our invited guests are required to RSVP in advance with the full name of each guest on our website under the “TICKET” tab. You can also contact our Guest Services line at 866-846-3623.

  • Do my guests have to arrive with me or can they come separately?
  • Each invited guest can arrive separately as long as you have included them on your RSVP list.

  • How can I change or correct my guest names once I submit them to you?
  • Go to the “CONTACT US” link on the website to send us a request.

  • If I can not attend, can I give someone else permission to use my invitation?
  • This is an INVITATION ONLY event; your invitation is not transferable.

  • Can I still attend the event if I am not on the guest list?
  • This is an invitation only event. Please contact the person who notified you of this event and request to be one of their invited guests.

  • How can I purchase a private cabana?
  • Contact RJI Guest Services at 866-846-3623 for reservations and pricing

  • How many people does the cabana seat?
  • Each private cabana is furnished for 6 people

  • What type of services does a VIP Platinum Guest receive?
  • Private poolside Cabana w/custom furnishings for 6 people; includes host bar service in designated areas, all food inclusive for entire day/evening, personal server for appetizers, premium liquor mini-bar with set-ups included for each Cabana.

  • Are there any pre-event parties or activities?
  • On Friday, August 21st, the Sheraton Delfina will host a "Meet & Greet" for hotel guests only.
  • The hotel will host a Sunday Brunch for hotel guest at a nominal fee.

  • Can I attend the Pre-party if I am not a hotel guest?
  • No, you will be required to show a Sheraton Delfina Hotel room key for entry.

  • Can I purchase a ticket for the Pre-party if I am not a hotel guest?
  • No, the “Pre-Party Cocktail Hour Meet and Greet is for hotel guest.

  • What are parking arrangements?
  • Valet parking is available. Self-parking with shuttled parking is also available in designated areas (determined on the day of the event).

  • Will I have “In and Out” privileges once I enter the estate?
  • Yes, all guest will have pre-programmed RFID wristbands for entry in and for departure from the estate for the entire day, however these wristbands must not be broken, detached, altered or removed as it will render the wristbands invalid for scanning.

  • What if I lose my invitation, can I still attend the event?
  • Yes, as an invited guest, your name is already on our master guest list. Please do not bring the invitation with you. A valid ID will be required from all guests prior to entry.

  • What is the attire for this event?
  • Casual wear is recommended until 5pm for the pool party; by 8pm, at the conclusion of cocktail hour, all guests are required to be in semi-formal evening wear.

  • Do I need to bring a change of clothing?
  • This is optional. You will have the option to leave the estate to change or you can bring a change of clothes with you to change in on-site dressing rooms, however space is limited.

  • Where can I change my clothes (from pool wear to evening attire)?
  • Honey wagons (mobile make-up and dressing rooms) will be located near the parking areas with valet attendants.

  • Am I allowed to bring food for the pool party?
  • No, outside food is not allowed on the premises. Food will be provided for all invited guests for the entire day and evening.

  • Am I allowed to bring my own beverages for the pool party?
  • No, all liquor and beverages will be provided at the estate for a nominal fee. However, water and soda are complimentary.

  • Is there a special rate for Club and Restaurant Owners?
  • Yes, Club and Restaurant Owners...

  • Is smoking allowed at the estate?
  • Yes, outdoors in designated areas only.

  • Are children allowed to attend?
  • No, this is an adult only event because of the presence of alcoholic beverages.

  • Do you have VIP packages for hotel stays?
  • Yes, the Sheraton Delfina Hotel, Santa Monica is the official hotel sponsor. Please click on the hotel link on our HOME page for reservations and prices. Hotel information is will also be included in the invitations.
